What happens when you delete your account?

When you delete your Bole-Bole account, the following actions will be taken:

  • Account removal: Your account will be permanently removed from our systems.
  • Personal data deletion: All personal information associated with your account (name, email, phone number, profile information) will be deleted.
  • Music content: All music files, audio recordings, videos, and documents you've uploaded will be permanently deleted from our storage.
  • Messages and conversations: All your chat messages, group conversations, and event communications will be removed.
  • Connections: Your connections with other musicians will be severed.
  • Events and groups: You will be removed from all events and groups you've joined.
This action is irreversible!
Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover your data, content, or connections. Please make sure to download any important content before proceeding.
Data retention:
Some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes) as required by law. This data is kept securely and will be deleted once the legal retention period expires (typically 7 years for financial records).

Delete your account in the app (Recommended)

The easiest way to delete your account is directly within the Bole-Bole mobile app. Follow these steps:

For iOS (iPhone/iPad):

  1. Open the Bole-Bole app on your device
  2. Tap on your Profile tab at the bottom of the screen
  3. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top right corner
  4. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
  5. Tap Delete Account
  6. Read the warning carefully in the confirmation dialog
  7. Type DELETE (or your email/phone number) to confirm
  8. Tap the red Delete Account button to proceed
  9. Wait for the deletion process to complete

For Android:

  1. Open the Bole-Bole app on your device
  2. Tap on your Profile tab at the bottom of the screen
  3. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top right corner
  4. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
  5. Tap Delete Account
  6. Read the warning carefully in the confirmation dialog
  7. Type DELETE (or your email/phone number) to confirm
  8. Tap the red Delete Account button to proceed
  9. Wait for the deletion process to complete
Active subscriptions:
If you have an active subscription, you'll be notified to cancel it before deleting your account. You can manage your subscription in your device's settings (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android).

Delete your account via web form

If you're unable to access the mobile app or prefer to delete your account via the web, you can submit a deletion request using the form below. We'll process your request within 7 business days.

Identity verification required:
To protect your account security, we'll send a verification email to the address associated with your account. You must click the verification link in that email to complete the deletion process.
